Final post

1) Self Regulation.

For this section I think I did pretty good. There are some examples, first one is attending class, for this semester I missed the class for 3-4 times however other then that I arrived on time everyday.

Also I brought the device everyday and taking responsibility at class too. 

Next thing are class time work and homework. At class I controlling myself from phone and listen the what the work all about. Also for homework I got help from my mother and finishing them. So for work is I always finished on time.

Last one is discussion in the class and commenting at classmates. This one is my weak point of this course because first of all everyone was helping me to understand the what is the assignments  are. So I have to listen their discussion or see how they write. Most of the time for commenting I said to them was how good they are or how I like. However  just one of them I gave advice to the person

For novel I read the book during winter breaks. So I think I was ahead of my class for novel. 

For this section I will give myself 28%.

2) Quality of Communication skill.

My first example is "Wittering and Representing"'s C1 "write meaningful personal texts that elaborate on idea and information. And this one what I did.

Next one is Thinking (Reading and Viewing)'s B8 "explain and support personal responses to texts... And this is what I did 

The last one is from Strategies (writing and representing)'s C7. Select, adapt, and apply a range of strategies to revise,edit,and publish writing and representing. And this is what I did 

For this section I'm going to give myself 27%.

3) Contribution to Learning Environment.

For this section what I did was edit my work when people commented my assignments, I shared idea with people in my class, I have to understand the assignments so I really listened the conversation in the class and also I finished assignments on every on time. The part I have to improve is comment or join to conversation more.

For this section I give myself 29%.

Under the Rug

It happened again, there was something in under the rug. I first noticed creepy things two weeks ago. Middle of the night I heard a squeaky sound coming from my living room. In my house, I have old furniture so it might be cabinet door was open. I looked around for the source of the sound but the entire door was closed. Then few minute later the sound stopped. I looked around the house once more, and I found the window was little bit opened. Then I figured out the wind was making a sound because that night was a windy nigh so I went back to bed. However next morning what I found was my daughter's stuff was all over the floor and a animal footprint was on it. My daughter had been missing for 2 years, she ran away from our home because of fight between me and her. I still regret what I had done to her and felt so lonely without her.  When I saw her things was messed up on the floor this made me really mad. After that nothing happened so I thought the situation had return to normal. However just be sure I locked her stuff every night put it back into the box.

 Then, tonight it happened again! In front of me. There is something moving under the rug and making a strange sound. I don't know what it is under the rug but think is not a good thing. So I grab a dining chair and smash it on to the rug. Suddenly something came out from under the rug. It was a fluffy white, blue- eyed kitten. Then I realized the foot print on my daughter’s shirt must be from the kitten. So I grab the kitten rush to the window, I open the window roughly and try to throw it out the kitten outside. However When I see the kitten's eye and colour of the eye remained me a daughter because it was same colour. Then I realized I had done something to my daughter. When we had augments about her life style then turn into a fight and in the last I told her to get out from the house. I thought I was angry at this kitten but now I felt guilty of throwing away so I decided to keep the kitten. Next day I spend some time with kitten, so I put daughter's stuff away because kitten is always by my side. Also I put the box where the kitten can't reach it.

However following day the stuff was all over the place and next day it happened again. Then I got really confused so I looked up at the kitten. The kitten was staring straight at me and Kitten’s blue eye made me feel the kitten is try to tell me something, but I didn’t know what so I tried to find the answer. Then one thing what I realized was that the kitten is sitting on my daughter's favorite cloth. Through the following week I found the kitten on same spot.

 From this I felt this kitten is somehow related to my daughter. So I decided to find out the secret of this kitten. This incidence is happened in the middle of the night. So the next night I hide myself in the between the bookshelves and to see what happening. Then, a few minute later, something came into the room with box.

 It was a kitten but also a sprit that looked like, Sara the blond straight hair, blue eyes and freckles on her face it was my daughter! Sara started to open the box and put the stuff all over the floor and she looked her stuff one by one. Then they found me so I came out from the bookshelves.

I asked Sara what happened to her then she told me everything. When she ran off from the house she felt guilt about the fight so she decided to go home and apologize to father. However the way to home accidently she was get into the car accident and died. She can't die like this because they are still fighting and she didn't apologize to her father. So she wished for to go back home then her wish was granted. Next thing she turns into a white kitten. It took two years for her to get back. But she have to realize me the kitten was her so she put her stuff until I notice. That night we spend all for talk and next morning she was already gone.

 After that night I never saw my daughter again.  Sometimes I talked to the kitten because I thought it might respond, but she never did. However, I didn't feel any sadness or loneliness because the kitten is always by my side and it made me feel that my daughter is here.

Man From The South

Major Elements of Short Story:
1) Plot
-Introduction
Begging of the story.
It was getting on toward six o'clock so I thought I'd buy myself a beer and go out and sit in a deck chair by the swimming pool and have a little evening sun.

Man vs Man is the bet. Old man challenged to American boy to light up the ciger 10 time in the row. If boy wins he could get old man's Cadillac. However if old man wins boy have to give him a left pinkie.
-rising action

When old man pull out the his ciger American boy offered the light and said
"Here, let me give you a light." The American boy held up his lighter.

"Dat will not work in dis wind."

"Sure, it'll work. It always works.
Then they started to aguing about the his light.

When they went to old man's room and start the bet.

When the lady came to the room and stop the bet.

When boy gave to the key to the woman they saw her hand and she only had one finger and thumb./

this short story is based on suspence. Also we don't know what going to happen.

6) Foreshadowing
"I must say I didn't much like the way he was behaving. It seemed he was already trying to make something out of this, and to emberrass the boy, and at the same time I had the feeling he was relishing a private little secret all his own."

Summative Eassay

 In this world most of the people decide the person by appearence or attitude. Then put thier charactristic to own head. However, do you know all about the person's mind? Probably you are going to change your mind about the person. From the book "The Curious Incident of the dog in the Night" by Mark Haddon and the play " Romeo and Juliet" both have incidents which the reader will initally judge harshly, but change their mind about with more thought.

 From "The Curious incident of the dog in the Night Time"you could findout that main charactor Christopher is not normal . In the book he wrote the chapter by prime numbers, when chapter change the story will change to totally different, also he don't like touching by people and if they do he hit them, and when he found the dog with pitch fork he pulled out the fork and he hugged the bloody dog. Most reader would think Christopher is a crazy person. However if you read it through you will find the he is a special needs person. He has autism, He likes math and science and he didn't read peoper novles because he couldn't understand figuretive language. Also he didn't like being around with people when he get into that situation he rolled back onto the lawn and pressed his forehead to the ground and make a noise like groaning. He said this will calm him down.

 From "Romeo and Juliet" we could find the same suituetion. The person is Lady Capulet. At the beggining of the story she doesn't act like she is Juliet's mother. What she did was having a party, try not to upset her husband and when Juliet needs mother's help she coldly ignores Juliet. However there are reasons why she became like this. When Lady Cuplet gave birth to Juliet, she was only welve to thirteen years old. It is hard for a girl this age to become a mother. So Juliet was raised by a nurse Juliet has the closest bond with her nurse. This made difficulty for Lady Cuplet to get close to Juliet and become a real mother. It seem to Lady Cuplet didn't love Juliet; however, when Juliet dies Lady Cuplet cries for her. So this will make that she loved Juliet. 

 I had same experience when I was young. It was age of 6 and I was in gread 1. In my class there are one girl (her name is Ali.) she couldn't talk properly so she didn't have any friends. I think my classmates thought Ali is not normal. Since it was hard to hear what she said then then avoided her. I did the same thing to her. One day I talked to my mother about Ali . Then my mother told me to not make fun of her because she is getting hurt when people treat her like that. Also, mother said Ali is having a hard time so help her out. Next day I talked to Ali and we became friends. I found out the difficulty of talking was not that bad. Also her story was really funny and I spat forgot that she was having any difficulty. So this experience changed my first thought about her. It also changed me because I talk to people more and made to see the other side of them.

 When people meeting new people, they decide what kind of a person the other is by first impressions. However humans can't tell all things by first impressions. So if you meet someone new, don't decide too quickly. Take the te and get to know each other. This will change to see people more carefully and could find the inside of them.
